I still wanted to send the synth track through a compressor, so I simply set it up on a return track (Send C), then sent the signal from the track with A元 to Send C. As it turns out, I had a compressor on that track. I was having all kinds of crashes when changing presets in Analog Lab 3 on a track in Ableton 10.0.2. If I start a new project and try to load Analog 3 or V Collection 6 some presets will work, others will not, and Live 10.0.2 eventually crashes.

Thanks for posting the bit above about the additional effects on a track with Arturia plugins. Since the 10.0.2 update all projects containing Arturia Analog 3 or Arturia V Collection 6 crash on load. So this seems to be an Ableton Live issue, not an Arturia issue. If a track contains only an Arturia plugin with no additional effects, Ableton does not crash.

The title of the issue is misleading as the poster later discovered that the Arturia plugin does not need to be in an instrument rack, however if the track contains both an Arturia plugin and an effect, then Ableton 10.0.2 will crash. For anyone curious, you can join the beta in your user account, then be able to view the thread below. The bug was fixed on Windows but not Mac. The issue presented on both Windows and Mac. Just to get a better understanding of my problem I will ask this.

Just searched the beta forums and found this report about Arturia, "Live hangs loading Arturia VSTs grouped to an instrument rack". Anyone having problems with Arturia V Collection / Analog Lab I have another thread here dealing with some GPU related issues causing my PC to crash. Implementation is scheduled for the next beta, which will be released soon (indicated around 1 or 2 weeks from now). Unfortunately the fix for this issue did not make it in time for 10.0.2. Ableton staff posted an update on the AU issues on the beta forum.
